At Playa, accessible from Apple App Store and Google Play Store, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our customers. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Playa and how we use it. If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us. This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website and users of our app with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect therein. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website or mobile app.

Information we collect

Information You Provide. When you register to the app and use it, we ask you to provide certain personal information, including a valid email address. We will also ask you to provide or otherwise collect additional information, such as, your name. We also collect information about or contained in your communications with Playa as well as your communication with other users of Playa. The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as email address.

How Do We Use The Information Collected?

We will use your personal information for the following purposes:

• to provide you with quality service and security, to operate the app, to perform our obligations to you and to develop and improve our service. For example, we use personal information to verify your identity. We also use this information to establish and set up your account, verify or re-issue a password, log your activity, enable your communications with other members, provide customer support and contact you from time to time. The information helps us to develop and improve our services, to understand and analyse our performance as well as your preferences and performance and to customize and personalize our service and enhance your experience.

  Children’s Information

Playa does not knowingly collect any Personally Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website or in our mobile app, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

  Deleting your Account

  1. Log into Playa with your correct email and password
  2. Using the Hamburger Menu, leave any teams you belong to
  3. Once you no longer belong to any teams, you will be shown the “no teams” screen
  4. Select the “Delete me from Playa” option at the bottom of the screen
